Jana Kramer is a country musician, actor and singer who rose to stardom in television when she was given the role of Alex in One Tree Hill for the last three seasons. In episodes of the show, Jana Kramer was seen performing her debut album of country music. Her album titled "Jana" made it to the Billboard 200 top 20 in 2012. Thirty One from 2015 reached 10th place. It was the end of a decade that saw her appearances in Dancing with the Stars, TV films and non-album singles. In 2021, her self-doubting album Voices was released. Born and raised within Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer grew up on country music and would eventually make a record career, but she began her professional life acting as an actress, making her onscreen debut on the screen in the 2002 independent horror film Dead/Undead when she was still in her teens. After guest roles in All My Children and CSI: NY, she landed the role of Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights the second season, 2007-2008. Kramer went to appear in the role of Portia Ranson in 90210 2008-2009 and Brooke Manning on Entourage 2009 prior to joining the ensemble of the CW's One Tree Hill as Alex Dupre in the year 2009, where she stayed until partway through the series' final season in 2012. Kramer was signed a contract in 2009 with Elektra Records, and she released her modern country-inspired track I Won't Give Up in the One Tree Hill episode in the year 2011. Later, in 2012, it came out by Jana Kramer - her debut full-length. The track was featured in the Top Country Albums of Billboard's chart within the Top Five. As she continued to develop her acting career, she proceeded to play in films like Heart of the Country 2013 along with Country Crush 2016 and appealed directly her music fans. Kramer released her sophomore studio album, Thirty One together with Warner Music Nashville, in October 2015. It was boosted by Kramer's Top Five country song I Got the Boy as well as a duet with Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. It was also able to land the third spot in the Billboard 200 country album chart. Starting in September 2016 she stayed for two months in the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars, which ended with an overall fourth position. This was also the season when she had a major adult contemporary smash, courtesy of the song "Feel Just Like" Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
